Instanet’s TransactionDesk: How To Import Data and Apply a Template To Transactions (OLD VERSIONS-LITE & PRO)

There is sometimes a need to apply a template to your transactions to save time later or comply with office rules. Read below to learn how to navigate this process with both the Pro and Lite versions of TransactionDesk.

Import MLS or RPR data and apply a template with TransactionDesk Pro:
Transaction Desk PRO

 

 

 

  1. Click on Start a New Transaction.
  2. Fill out the transaction name, type and description.
  3. Place a check mark next to Yes, I want to Import data:
  4. Choose the data source, RPR for tax data or MLS for active listings.
  5. Enter the MLS# or County and Parcel ID (without dashes). If you don’t know the parcel ID use the link below to search for it.
  6. Select Go to Transaction Overview.
  7. Select one of the four choices that applies to this particular transaction.
  8. Click Start Transaction.
  9. In the I would like to section, choose Import Data from the drop-down menu.
  10. Select Import from Transaction Template.
  11. Select the template that you wish to apply to this transaction.
  12. Click Import Data.

Import MLS or RPR data and apply a template with TransactionDesk Lite:Transaction Desk Lite

  1. Click on Transactions.
  2. Click the blue arrow to the right of the I would like to section.
  3. Fill out the transaction name and type.
  4. Choose the data source, RPR for tax data or MLS for active listings.
  5. Enter the MLS# or County and Parcel ID (without dashes). If you don’t know the parcel ID use the link below to search for it.
  6. Select Use a Transaction Template you would like to apply from the Import From drop-down menu.
  7. Next, select the template in the Use Template drop-down menu.
  8. Select one of the four choices that applies to this particular transaction.
  9. Click the Save button in the bottom right corner.
