How To Create a Desktop Shortcut For The Member Launchpad

One of the easiest ways to get to the Member Launchpad to access Paragon and other programs is to double-click an icon on your desktop and have the login screen open in a browser.  The icon you double-click is called a shortcut. You can tell whether or not your icon is a shortcut by the presence of a small arrow on the lower corner. Shortcuts are used to open many things such as files, folders and programs. For the Launchpad we are only concerned with shortcuts for websites.

Your icon will appear different depending on the type of browser you set as your default. Your default browser will open shortcuts even if you created them with a different browser.

Here is how to create a shortcut for Paragon:

Internet Explorer:

Mozilla Firefox:

Google Chrome:

  • Go to http://launchpad.nnrmls.com which will redirect you to The Member Launchpad https://idp.nnrmls.safemls.net/idp/Authn/UserPassword. This is what you want to create a shortcut for.
  • Click the ‘Customize and Control Google Chrome’ button. (It is at the top right corner of the window and is a wrench or three horizontal lines.)
  • Scroll down and select Tools.
  • Click Create Application Shortcuts.
  • Choose Desktop or Pin to Taskbar or both.
  • Click Create.
