Goomzee Tip of the Week: How to Verify Your Location

Occasionally when opening Goomzee, your location can be misidentified and return few or no listings. It is simple to resolve this:

The mistake in identification occurs for different reasons:

  1. The GPS is not properly set (setting is platform-dependent)
  2. The southern view of the sky is obstructed (outdoors)
  3. An error occurs with Google’s wifi location reference

GPS settings should be verified and wifi toggled on/off to see if location awareness improves. Logging out and back into Goomzee often resolves the issue. (See your mobile device manufacturer’s instructions for completing this task).
